About

ServiceNow needed an impactful video to open a course designed for executives at other companies. I wanted to create a video that felt less like a training offered by a corporate company and more like a short film instead. This video was a blast to make.

Production Info

Paper Placement and Materials

To scatter paper throughout the office space, a system was implemented involving various paper textures, a material that randomly assigned these textures at runtime, and the use of geometry nodes to attach the paper to specific areas, including cubicles, walls, pillars, and glass.

Paper Simulations

Two shots in the video featured the use of cloth simulation to create the effect of paper shooting out, involving the creation of chutes and the application of wind and turbulence to achieve the desired paper burst effect, and multiple renders were composited for the box scene.
